Recently, Timothée Chalamet attended the premiere of his new film titled, A Complete Unknown, which was held in New York City.

On this day, the actor recreated Bob Dylan's iconic look at the Sundance Film Festival for the 2003 movie, Masked and Anonymous. From his bonnet to shoes, Chalamet accurately brought to life the edgy fashion statement made by the singer-songwriter a decade ago.

But Timothée didn't stop there. He also matched Bob's blonde locks and facial expression, gaining rave reactions.

For this project, he purposely changed his hair color to blonde from darker locks. Tim also grew his mustache, replicating the legend's facial features. Chalamet did all this as part of the so-called, Method Dressing.

This marketing technique is often used by celebrities when they want to embody a character involved in a project they are working on, as per Vogue.

As Chalamet's film is a biopic of Dylan, he has been making an appearance following the icon's gestures, clothing, the way he speaks, and more.

Fortunately, this kind of promotion seems to work with the audience and Bob's avid fans.

"Timothee with blonde hair, oh my god, he just hits differently," said one netizen.

"Not gonna lie, he probably won over more of Bob's fandom with this," another commented.

"He's committed to the promo and we love to see it," added a supporter.

"He's so perfect as Bob Dylan," seconded an internet user.
